Pics : The Shift 2014

At The Shift 2014, I experienced a range of emotions after listening to some of the speakers and meeting them thereafter.

From the seventeen year old Aisha Chaudhary who overcame a predicted life expectancy of only one year to have become an accomplished artist today.

Vineeth Vincent, who rocked and taught the crowd with his beat-boxing! This was clearly the favorite session of the day!  I got to learn so much from his talk and yes I can beat-box a bit now :)

Sindhu V. the standup comedian from UK, who was also the anchor of the day, had all of us rolling on the floor laughing! Her "Mojo-Jojo" act....had us in splits. Watch out for her video everybody.

It was nice to meet and listen to Suniti Mathur from Test Rockers who has taught over 1200 globally in SAT. Her story from Mom to an Internet entrepreneur was quite exciting!

Maya Krishna Rao walked and danced for Nirbhaya. The powerful walk stirred everyone's soul in the audience.

Shanatanu Moitra brought us his shift journey of "I don't know" from Delhi boy to superstar music composer of 3 Idiots and the classic Coke ad and now on to saving India's folk music traditions.

Shiv Khemka mentored us through the crisis facing mankind and the need for new leaders to emerge.
And then Ani and Vineeth gave us an ex tempo concert fusing melodious Buddhist chanting with beat boxing.

It was my pleasure sharing the stage with so many inspirational speakers.

Whether or not to make the Shift to Vedic Maths is a choice open for everybody. That was the summary of my talk on Vedic Mathematics.

"Remember that not getting what you want is sometimes a wonderful stroke of luck" - Dalai Lama

( This quote printed on the stage made my day! I could so much relate to it!)

I would like to  congratulate and thank the entire team of Shift for a such an amazing and a high voltage conference.
